The Nightwing Brooch features a striking bat with outstretched wings, set against a deep black centre and surrounded by an elaborate baroque-inspired frame.

The bat is kept almost entirely black, allowing the raised details to catch the light, while the ornate frame is finished with hand-applied silver dry brushing.

Inspired by the elaborate ornamentation of Victorian mourning jewellery and antique memorial pieces, this brooch takes those traditional forms and gives them a distinctly gothic, nocturnal twist.

Designed, resin printed and hand painted by Dead Quiet Studio, every piece is individually finished by hand. The combination of glossy black relief and silver detailing gives it the character of a strange antique gothic relic rather than a mass-produced accessory.
