The Maw | Gothic Monster Teeth Brooch

Something has teeth. A lot of teeth.

The Maw is an ornate gothic statement brooch featuring a grotesque mass of layered monster teeth surrounded by an elaborate baroque-inspired frame.

Finished in deep black with hand-applied silver detailing, it has the appearance of a strange antique relic belonging to something decidedly unnatural.

The design combines Victorian mourning jewellery-inspired ornamentation with something considerably more monstrous — an elegant antique-style frame hiding a truly unsettling grin.

The Maw is resin printed and individually hand painted, with silver dry-brushed across the raised details to bring out the intricate frame while keeping the darker areas deep and shadowy.
